If this is some sort of joke it's in very poor taste.

Wow! This is so cool, like something out of a manga! My friends will be so jealous that they're not here to see this. I hope I'm not the only one here though, a little kid could get into a lot of trouble all by himself in a big city like this!

Does anyone know how I -- we? -- got here? Japan is super far away, and I definitely don't remember a plane ride. Ran-neesan says that if something weird happens I should call for help, but the emergency numbers on my phones go to dead air.

Oh, Christ... I'm fine, really. I don't live with my parents anyway and looking for them would be a waste of effort and resources since current data indicates they're not here.

Your cooperation in regards to my data gathering would be most helpful however.

Well, I lived with my Oh gag me I guess you'd call him my Sensei. The lazy bastard He's teaching me the craft of being a detective. How many times can I say that before I have to do penance for lying?

This one lived with Kaoru-dono. She is the master of her sword dojo. There is a young man there who is learning from her. He will become a great samurai that protects someday. This one believe that if you focus as much as he, you will become a great detective.
